The non anodized extrusion is made from high quality aluminum (also available in a double-anodized version) is designed for flexible or rigid LED strips that are 8 - 11,5 mm wide.
Warning! To maintain an optimal operating temperature of the diodes, the LEDs used should be up to 5W / m.
One of the accessories offered for the extrusion are covers that shade and protect LEDs inside the profile. Covers are made of polycarbonate, and additionally, covers are certified for excellent resistance to all weather conditions or UV radiation as well as being flame retardant.
Extrusion HR-LINE, together with LEDs, cover and caps should be used only in a version specially sealed with neutral silicone (recommended SIKASIL WS-605 S). Regarding the degreasing of surfaces, we recommend Universal Cleaner R-40 by DOW CORNING, available from our company. The use of other agents can cause gaping or damage to the fixture. If you have used a degreasing agent, perform further activities related to the sealing of the fixture after the agent has evaporated. Due to this we get a lighting fixture of high integrity, whose class of resistance against ingress of solid objects, dust and water will be IP67.
A frosted cover and densely spaced LEDs allow to get a single line of light.
The extrusion should be fastened to surfaces, such as different types of pavers, with a frost-resistant adhesive (e.g. CERESIT CM 17). It is recommended that the profile is mounted onto a special base foam which cushions the loads carried by the profile and makes the extrusion even with paving stones. In addition, the foam can be used as a template for a proper installation in e.g. cobblestones. The design of the extrusion and the parameters of the cover allow for static loads up to 20 kN.
Due to its high integrity and high load bearing capacity, the extrusion is ideal for high-traffic areas such as sidewalks, bike paths; it is also suitable for mounting in parking lots, driveways. Additionally, it can be used to illuminate the exterior architectural elements, such as building facades, terraces, gardens, etc.

Mount the fixture in the prepared slot using frost-resistant adhesives that stay flexible or silicone adhesives. In any case, mounting of the fixture should be done in a way that it is possible to remove it for service purposes, without damaging the floor.
When using HR-LINE fixtures in pavements or other passageways a firm surface should be provided around and under the fixture. The area of the surface covers about 20 cm from both sides of the fixture and its both ends. The term "firm surface" means a place that will move together with the fixture. This will prevent the phenomena of structure change or damage of the fixing place. An example of a stabilizing element may be a reinforced concrete slab, faced with a given surface, on which the paving shall be built and directly on it the fixture will be placed on a shock absorbing pad.
While embedding the HR-LINE fixture in concrete or other hardly detachable surface, you can use expansion joints between the fixture and the surface material of the passageway, which allows for the removing of the fixture in necessary. The dilation should be performed so that the fixture can be firmly attached to the surface, and not rest loose in its ‘nest’. The dilation can be provided, for example, by separating the fixture from the surface with a foil, an angle bar or a flat bar, etc. You can also first prepare seats for the fixture and then place it in a seat using a flexible adhesive suitable for the given conditions.
